This past weekend, the Krete Academy competition team traveled across the state to compete in the USPK Regional Finals hosted at Dynasty Fitness. The event brought together athletes from across the region for a weekend full of movement, creativity, competition, and community — and it was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Dynasty Fitness continues to be one of our favorite gyms to visit. Their facility is incredible, and having the opportunity to spend the weekend alongside some of our closest friends in the parkour community made the experience even more meaningful. From the youngest athletes to the adult divisions, the sense of encouragement and support throughout the competition was inspiring to witness.
Day One: Young Athletes Rise to the Occasion

Day one featured the junior and youth divisions, and our athletes showed up ready to perform.
Charlie had an amazing competition in the Junior Division (ages 7–10), taking 1st Place in both Speed and Style.
Speed challenges athletes to complete a set course as quickly as possible using efficient parkour movement and technical precision.
Style allows athletes to create their own movement line using flips, transitions, and creative combinations while being judged on composition, execution, and difficulty.

Leland also had an incredible performance in the Youth Division (ages 10–12), earning 1st Place in all three events: Speed, Style, and Skill.
Skill tests athletes’ adaptability and problem-solving abilities by requiring them to complete as many movement challenges around the gym as possible within a time limit.
Watching these athletes compete with confidence, focus, and creativity made the entire Krete Academy team proud.
Day Two: Strong Performances from Teens and Adults

The momentum carried into day two as the teen and adult athletes stepped onto the floor.
Mac represented Krete Academy exceptionally well in the teen division, earning 2nd Place in Style and 3rd Place in Speed with impressive performances throughout the day.

Our very own Coach Tucker also stepped up in the adult division, taking 3rd Place in Adult Style and showcasing the creativity and movement quality we strive to teach in our program every day.

We also want to give a huge congratulations to Jordan — Tucker’s fiancé and soon-to-be wife this June — who had an incredible weekend by taking 1st Place in both Adult Women’s Skill and Style. Her performances were powerful, creative, and inspiring to watch.
More Than Just Competition
While we are extremely proud of the results, weekends like this are about so much more than podium finishes.
Traveling for competitions gives our athletes the opportunity to reconnect with friends across the state, build deeper relationships within the greater parkour community, and experience firsthand the culture that makes parkour so unique. These events inspire athletes to push themselves further, discover what they are capable of, and grow both as competitors and as people.
Every athlete who participated came home with a new level of motivation and inspiration.
Most importantly, we want to say how proud we are of all the kids in our program who chose to step outside their comfort zones and compete. It takes courage to put yourself out there, and every athlete represented Krete Academy with positivity, determination, and heart.
We’re excited to continue growing together as a team and can’t wait for the next opportunity to compete, learn, and connect with the incredible parkour community around us.
